Exploring Ghana’s culture. Embark on a journey of color, creativity, and community as Eye Open Afrika welcomes you to Ghana Chale Wote Festival 2024. From August 16th to August 25th, be part of an extraordinary celebration that weaves art, culture, and local rhythms into an unforgettable tapestry.

Airport Pickup
Day 1 begins with a warm airport pickup, ushering you into the heart of Ghana. The evening is embraced by a delightful welcome dinner, setting the stage for cultural exploration. A restful overnight stay in Accra ensures a rejuvenating start to our adventure.
Enjoy Accra
Day 2 treats you to a beachside yoga session, followed by visits to the W.E.B. Dubois Center and Kwame Nkrumah National Park. Explore Independence Square in the afternoon, with lunch at Afrikiko Restaurant (on you) and personalized dinner at the hotel (on you). Rest for the night at Labadi Hotel, making every moment a seamless blend of culture and comfort.
Discover Kumasi
Day 3 immerses you in Ghana's cultural tapestry with a traditional naming ceremony, followed by a visit to the Bonwire Kente Weaving Village. Support local artisans at nearby shops and engage in an Adinkra symbol workshop. Enjoy a hosted lunch at Jofel and dinner at the hotel (on you). The night unfolds at Ike's Hotel, promising a blend of tradition and modern comforts.
Cape Coast History
On Day 4, our journey unfolds with a visit to the Manhyia Palace Museum before heading to Cape Coast. Along the way, we pause at the Assin Manso Slave River for a poignant last bath, followed by a reflective yoga session. Lunch beckons at Hatchland Beach Front Restaurant (on you), offering a scenic pause. The night unfolds at Coconut Grove Beach Hotel, where a hosted dinner awaits, promising a serene evening by the coast.
